Rebecca Sisson

Rebecca has been practicing and studying yoga for over 15 years. She turned to yoga to heal her body after years of long distance running had taken a brutal toll on her. The physical challenge of yoga first attracted her to the practice, but it’s the peaceful and meditative qualities that keep her coming back. This practice has brought a sense of balance, love, empathy and humility to her life that she is eternally grateful for.

Rebecca brings a contemporary approach to the traditional practice of Ashtanga yoga. Her teaching is deeply rooted in anatomy, encouraging alignment and safe exploration of postures, bringing dynamic and creative sequences to her classes. She strives to awaken the adventurous spirit on the mat, blending a strong and challenging physical practice with a sense of playfulness and grace.

Katherin Hervey

Katherin went to her first Kundalini yoga and meditation class in Los Angeles in 2007 and immediately fell in love with the practice. Kundalini Yoga integrates the body and mind, combining movement, breathwork and meditation with a knowledge of meridians, energy centers, and the body's wisdom to foster personal growth and transformation. Katherin daily witnesses both the subtle and powerful impacts this practice continues to give her: a deep appreciation for the beauty of the body and its innate capacity for joy, a calm space during emotional times, and an awe for the sacredness of life and every precious moment it offers. Katherin is also an artist and filmmaker who created the award-winning documentary “The Prison Within”, and a thought leader in the field of criminal justice reform, featured on The Black News Channel, Business Insider, The Guardian, Forbes, and other publications, TV and radio shows, and podcasts. With a background in art and activism, Katherin believes deeply in the creative potential inherent in all of us, and the paths of service this potential can bring. Her approach is to encourage students to find their own space for grace and ease both on the mat and off. Her goal in each class is to open the channels between the heart, the mind, and each other.

Katherin will be leading Kundalini & Sound Healing one Sunday a month at 10am

TRI YOGA

Tri Yoga is a Hatha Yoga style founded by internationally known Yogini Kaliji. Its inherent characteristics (spinal waves, relaxation-in-action, smooth rhythmical breath, and economy of movement) result in a seamless flow - the unification of pranayama (breathing practices), hasta mudra (hand gestures) with dynamic and sustained asana (posture) to create greater flow of prana (life-force). Cultivate: the Instinct of the Body; Uncover: Your own Practice; Fall: in love with Breath

Nuria Reed

With 10,000 hours of teaching and training experience and ten sacred pilgrimages to India to immerse herself in the source of the teachings, Nuria Reed lives, breathes, and teaches the spiritual heart of yoga - Moksha or Liberation. Her asana technique is influenced by Ashtanga's fire and Iyengar's precision, and her philosophy is planted in the non-dual teachings of her Tantric lineage. Throughout her career, she’s innovated new ways to bring the awakening power of yoga from the cave of the ascetics to the hearths of the householders. Her signature meditation and pranayama program, Urban Sadhana, is the culmination of this work and has been taught to over 100 students. When not teaching classes or leading trainings and retreats, you can find Nuria coaching women into their embodied power and bold pleasure.

Brock Tuller

As a child, Brock was naturally inclined toward contemplative states, and attracted to the accounts of mystical experiences from spiritual seekers of many cultures. A student of nature, he is interested in looking and listening deeply to the inherent wisdom present in both the external and internal environments. This natural draw led him to powerful heart opening through devotion to Bhakti yoga, contemplative prayer, and traditional Buddhist meditation.

Between 2012-2015, Brock received his formal training in graduate school at University of the West in Rosemead, CA. There, he earned a master’s degree in Multicultural Counseling Psychology, with Emphasis in Buddhist Psychology. “Attending classes side by side with Buddhist nuns and monks was a rare gift. The exchange of ideas and culture between East and West was one of the most formational experiences of my life.” After completion of his coursework in meditation theories, philosophy, and practice, Brock’s meditation teacher instructed him to become a teacher himself.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Brock currently serves his community through a specialization in EMDR therapy, and mindfulness-based therapeutic modalities. He has worked in various therapeutic, corporate, and educational settings teaching meditation and mindfulness practices to individuals, groups, and MFT trainees. His open goal is to provide traditionally sound meditation instruction that is approachable and digestible by the Western mind and heart. “I want to help people open their hearts to the living practice of meditation and mindfulness in daily life, while also dispelling common misconceptions about what meditation is or should be like. I want to provide a safe space with a high degree of gentleness and respect to the unique experiences of those that share in this journey.”

Brock will be leading Fundamentals of Meditation on Tuesdays at 10am

Nicole Tarro

Each class we will focus on ways to improve alignment, strength and flexibility. One of my greatest joys is to share the power of mindful movement and to see how we can all reap its benefits in real time. I have over 20 years of teaching experience with a varied background as a Pilates practitioner/teacher, Yoga practitioner/teacher, and a contemporary dancer. I grew up performing, choreographing, and teaching in the highly disciplined dance world, where I hold a BA in Dance Science from SFSU. I am a PMA certified teacher with a background in classical, contemporary, and rehabilitative techniques. My love for movement also led me to complete San Francisco’s highest regarded Yoga teacher training program, with Yoga Tree’s 200hr teacher certification. I have been fortunate to study under master teachers in these fields and I love to share what I have learned so far.

When I am not in the studio I am hanging out with my two lovely children and husband enjoying all that this desert has to offer.

Nicole is taking a step back from teaching to persue dance for the winter months. We hope to have her back on the schedule in the new year!

Massimo Bardetti

With over 15 years of yoga practice, Massimo has found balance and harmony through yoga, especially while navigating a demanding career as an engineer. He completed his teacher training in Rishikesh, India, the birthplace of yoga, and is passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga with others to help them achieve physical and mental well-being.

Yoga is not a "workout"—it’s a "work-in." In this class, we’ll explore all five core pillars of yoga: philosophy, breath (prana), meditation, chanting (mantra), and poses (asana). Together, we’ll embark on a transformative journey that grounds, uplifts, and centers us, deepening our understanding of ourselves through mindful practice.

Massimo teaches Akhanda Yoga every other Wednesday at 8am

Angela Gui

Yoga first appeared to me as a way to simply move better, breathe easier, and be present. And through its path, my practice has deepened with the diversity of ways we move- how the body becomes a laboratory for connection to the self. My classes are inspired by traditional Hatha and Astanga vinyasa lineages based on my training in India, modern movement modalities, and their interactions. You'll be guided through an inquiry-driven practice with an emphasis on joyful agency and whole-body connection. In class, expect fun and creative sequences that engage multiple dimensions of physical and mental experience. I hope thaou leave my class feeling inspired, present, and with a sense of calm that persists throughout your day
